ideal for solution treatment, tempering, and the heating of any densely
packed load carried in a cylindrical basket. The advantages of Pit
Furnaces are faster heating due to forced air flow from top to bottom,
savings in floor space due to lack of doors swinging open, and easier
loading to to a swing-away door configuration.
